Fake Away McChicken Burger & French Fries

Calories: 686 | Protein: 46g | Fat: 14g | Carbohydrates: 90g | Fibre: 5g

Ingredients

1 x Hamburger Roll

Chicken Breast (weighed raw): 120 grams

Plain White Flour: 10 grams

Black Pepper: 1 grams

Dried Oregano: 1 grams

1 x Egg White

Panko Breadcrumbs: 15 grams

Lettuce: 30 grams

99% Fat-Free Mayonnaise: 20 grams

Mustard Powder: 1 grams

Frozen French Fries: 120 grams

Method

  1. Cook fries as per packet instructions.
  2. Add the flour to a bowl and season with black pepper, oregano & salt. Coat the chicken in flour, whisked egg white, then coat in breadcrumbs. Ensure the crumbs evenly cover the chicken. 
  3. Place on an oven-proof tray and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Alternatively, you could cook in a fry pan or air fryer. 
  4. Mix the mayonnaise and mustard powder. Assemble burger with mayonnaise, lettuce and chicken. Serve with fries.

Chicken Pad Thai

Calories: 624 | Protein: 41g | Fat: 17g | Carbohydrates: 77g | Fibre: 6g

Ingredients

Chicken Breast (weighed raw): 120 grams

Chinese Broccoli: 80 grams

Green Beans: 50 grams

Rice Stick Noodles (weighed dry): 50 grams

1 x Whole Egg

Pad Thai Paste: 60 grams

Fish Sauce: 20 mL

Bean Sprouts: 30 grams

Crushed Peanuts: 5 grams

Method

  1. Cook the noodles per the cooking instructions on the packet. Rinse, drain, then set aside.
  2. Whisk the egg in a small bowl and cook until scrambled then set aside. 
  3. Dice the chicken and cook in a non-stick pan over medium heat until cooked and lightly browned. 
  4. Once cooked through, add the sauce to the pan along with the chopped vegetables. Stir until well combined and vegetables are cooked. Add the noodles and egg and stir to combine.
  5. Serve topped with bean sprouts and crushed peanuts.

 

Scotch Fillet Steak & Chips

Calories: 691 | Protein: 51g | Fat: 32g | Carbohydrates: 49g | Fibre: 8g

Ingredients

Beef Scotch Fillet Steak (weighed raw): 200 grams

Frozen Potato Chips: 120 grams

Tomato Sauce: 20 mL

Broccolini: 100 grams

Carrot: 100 grams

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake chips according to packet instructions. 
  2. Cook steak in a non-stick pan over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until cooked to your personal preference.
  3. Prepare the vegetables as per your preference (e.g. steamed, boiled, stir-fried).
  4. Serve steak with chips, vegetables and sauce.
