20g chocolate whey protein powder
10g unsweetened cocoa powder
20g plain white flour
½ tsp baking powder
10ml maple syrup or honey
60ml skim milk
1 egg white
10g dark chocolate chips (optional)
Add the protein powder, cocoa powder, flour and baking powder to a microwave-safe mug. Stir to combine.
Add the maple syrup, milk and egg white to the mug and mix until a smooth batter forms.
Stir in the dark chocolate chips if using.
Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds, or until the cake has risen and is cooked through.
